At this point there was a slight run in with a swarm of Bee's, or Wasp's or some type of flying insect with a stinger and an attitude.
When I say run-in, I mean runaway. As in me hot-footing it the hell out of there. Eventually we were fine. I just had to apologize for pushing Gideon at the killer Bee's in order to save myself.

I always use a shotgun when I am "collecting" things. To hell with a butterfly net! Just blast the suckers with a 12 gage! However, my butterfly book only contains "butterfly parts" that I've "collected."

That's it - I'm skipping work, and pulling the kids out of school and we are going to the nature center near our home.... Looks like you had a great time - enjoy every minute that you can - it goes by so fast...
Fantastagirl— I know, I can't believe he is six months old already. It seems like just yesterday I was pacing around the hospital room trying to keep myself awake, alert and there for whatever Pixie needed.
Pop Papke— We wish you were here too. Pixie and I made the deer sound at the doe but it looked at us as if to say "Say What!"
