"The times they are a changing"

I did not vote for him.

I do not agree with many of his policies.

But he is my president and I will support him.

Good Luck Obama.

JQ, Thank you for stating that so simply.....
We have another moment when America has the best wishes of almost the entire world, I hope we don't blow it.

I'm in a Jack Bruce frame of mind today.

I just blogged too. See, politics, gets us to blog in between our crazy lives. Anyway, you have a very good towards Obama. Some people are saying such horrible things about him but I think the best thing is to just hope things will get better regardless of who won.

Cool, my word verifcation words is pantaroos. Just thought I'd share....

Microdot- I am still upset that you implied I was a racist. That was dirty and uncalled for.
I did not agree with a lot of the things that Bush did, but I supported him. I am a patriot; I love America.
That being said, I am going to give Obama the benefit of the doubt until he makes me believe otherwise. The otherwise being of course making America a socialist country. When that happens I will fight to take it back. Democracy IS the best form of government.
I have had a hard life and received no handouts to get where I am. I worked hard and held (still hold) the belief that people should succeed or fail on their own. One time I signed up for welfare and upon receiving the check I turned it back in because I couldn't stand to not provide for myself.
I am still poor and about to lose my job, but do you want to know what I am going to do? Go get another job and continue to work hard, even if it means having to put my dreams on hold. I will not give up and depend on the Local, State or Federal government to support me.
If that is evil and stupid, well than so be it.

Naynayfazz- Welcome back! See my above response to Microdot with regards to supporting the President.

Hey, thanks for signing my "Sick and Tired of Politics" blog. I hope we can get more people to sign it so we can let the Democrats and Republicans that we're sick of their crap!

I supported W for the last eight years and I certainly did not vote for him...

Random Chick- You got it! Let's take back our government.

Microdot- Let me just clarify that I hope that I never have to fight socialism in America. I look forward to a brighter future for my family— everyone's family.

I think it's ok to support him now, but if he does a shitty job, by all means we have to be critical. Just because GWB was our President doesn't mean I supported him, once I found out how much of an idiot he was. I think it's cool that you will be open at first, but keep that critical eye. It's people like you who will hopefully force Obama to keep his promises of "listening when we don't agree." I hope he's good, but I worry that his image is bigger than he is. I did vote for him. :D

TF- I totally agree that we have to be critical of our politicians. I wish I had been more critical of Bush. Everyone needs to play a bigger role in this government. We can not afford to become apathetic of our leaders. Like George Harrison said: "Watch out now; take care, beware of greedy leaders who take you where you should not go."
